Preseason Training

After the indulgence over Christmas, New Year, Australia Day, Chinese New Year and lack of training, its been a busy week here at Port Adelaide Physiotherapy Paincare Pilates in terms of calf, quadricep, hamstring and foot pain syndromes.

To get back to sport and reduce your injury recurrence, a simple drill to limber up the body can include fast sprints.

Step 1: Set up two cones (or any two objects eg shoes, bags etc which won't fly with the wind)
Step 2: Sprint between these cones.  Run around them, or stop and start between each.

The Aim:  To get the body loose and agile by varying directions and speed.  This will recondition fitness and agility fast.
